Whining..............................

I feel so crappy.
I got my camera in the mail yesterday. I haven't been able to use it yet. I want to go somewhere. Take pictures. But I don't want to leave my couch.
I'm so pissed. This is bullshit! I never get sick. Why me? Why now?

I'm sick now. I have the worst sore throat. I don't know if it's strep or just viral. It must have been the 5 days of binge drinking that did it.. haha. Shitty.
But it won't go away!! And now I'm gonna have to stay in for New Years! This is bullshit. I'm so pissed!
Maybe I'll go out. But I don't want to get other people sick. That wouldn't be very nice of me. haha

Kevin hasn't gotten sick yet though.. so I don't know. I heard it takes at least a week after exposure to show up if it's strep. Most likely it's viral because I've been drinking like a mofo and not sleeping and it's always so stressfull when we go to Corning.
I want to go to the doctor but it's a little late now.

I ordered a new digi-cam. Exciting! I hate my old one. I never use it.

I'm really depressed about my doggy. She's pretty old, but she had diabetes and she's been peeing blood. And today she lost control of her bladder. She was so scared she was gonna get in trouble for peeing on the carpet. Poor poopsy. Molly my boop.
She has huge cataracts and she's been so lethargic, they probably have to up her dose of insulin. Expensive stuff.
She's going to the vet Tuesday. I'm scared they will want to euthanize her. :(

Corning business

So we've been in Corning for a few days. It's not too bad. I guess.. besides all the running around we've had to do. I got to hang out with my little sister, which was fun. We hung out at Travis' a lot, as usual. We ate A LOT--as usual.

Last night we went out though.

We went to Justina's for a bit.

Then walked down the street to Holmes Plate and then The Snooty Pig.
It's crazy that Sorges burned down last night!! They say the fire started around 2 a.m. in the basement, which was about the time we left the The Snooty Pig. Right across the street and we didn't notice a thing. Trying to do tree jams on the icy sidewalk.. mabe that's why..
It's still on fire right now too! That place is toast. That's kinda sad. They had pretty good food.

After that we went to Abe and Josiah's place, Kevin went home, I went with Phil, Travis, and Matt. It was pretty awesome seeing some of the people I used to party with there.

Air guitar to Dethklok. Rad.

I met a few old/new people. People I knew but never really talked to. That's always entertaining talking about how we used to never talk, and ex boyfriends that we both know. haha.
And then "why weren't we friends earlier?!" Always when you're drunk.
You love everyone.

There was a band set-up in the basement. Mark's always good for making up funny songs.

I miss Corning parties. I really do.

Oh yeah.. and why was there a thunderstorm last night? In late December??

I wish I had more time to read new books.
First of all I need to stop re-reading books I've already read. Twice.

There's a beer in my fridge that wants some love.
Well there's like 12 beers.. but I think I'll stay away tonight.

I forgot how much I liked the Pixies.

Sometimes I talks like Skwisgaar and Tokis.

I like how I forget to post for over a month and then when I do I post 3 or 4 entries in a row.

Now that I'm done with school I'm realllly bored. Give me something to do!
I'm applying for a job at Advance Auto Parts. Yes, yes I am. They might hire me, and pay me, and give me hours. !!

Tomorrow we go to Corning. I plan on hanging out with my little siter a lot. We've been bonding lately. haha Mostly through Instant Messages.
I definitely need to go visit Grandma B.! Don't let me forget. I didn't see any of the Bennett family on Thanksgiving, except for my dad. So I gotta make up for that. I know I'm gonna get an earfull from Grandma B.

I like going out in Corning on Holidays. Jumping from bar to bar on Market Street. Then you see so many people you went to high school with. They all usually look the same, which for some reason I don't usually expect. I guess it hasn't been that long. I don't know what I expect them to look like. Not that I really even give a shit what they look like.

I love seeing my friends though. I still keep in touch with some of them on myspace and facebook. And you're never sure who's gonna show up and who they will be with and then they bring someone else you haven't seen in forever!
But when the whole crew is together it's usually the most fun you've had in a long time.. probably since the last time you got together.
Good times. I'm smiling.
I need friends like that here.

One of them was saying on Thanksgiving that when you're older you make new friends and stuff, but none of it is like the friends you had when you were young. And I'm starting to see that too.
I wonder why that is..

Cupcakes.

I made these cupcakes a few days ago (March 3rd). It was a little early I think because there is one left and there's 7 more days until St. Patrick's Day. oink. oink. haha

Oh well, I'm not that serious about that holiday anyway (my mom is, she even makes corned beef and cabbage, ew).
It's just an excuse to make cupcakes.. and to try out a new kind of frosting. The green stuff came in an aerosol can and there were 4 different tips you could use to pipe it with.
It pretty much sucked because it was hard to control, it just shot out like shaving cream. It was too fast.
So most of the clovers look like blobs of green poo. I'll never use that stuff again. Or maybe next time I'll use it when I want to make a cake with scribbles all over it. not really
Hey, but I made buttercream vanilla frosting from scratch and that turned out reallly good. So it wasn't all a complete failure.

I'm trying to do a photo a day kind of thing--like a photo blog. I know I won't be able to keep up though. I do have a life, ok?

I can't wait to move! We already have an apartment reserved for us and the kitty. We can move in May 1st! The apartment is a bit smaller than the one we have but it is without mold, so that's a plus. It's not very much closer to Albany though (which was the whole point of moving).

My poor baby cat got in a fight and had a huge cut on the top of his head and the vet shaved the top of his head a little and treated it so it didn't get infected.

Baby got a haircut so mommy got a haircut.. I cut my bangs. I haven't washed my hair in two days so it doesn't look drop dead gorgeous today.. but it will. hah
